Big Kahuna, aka Principal
As the boss man at DD&F, Shad has more than 18 years of experience in industrial design, environmental graphics and fabrication. He graduated from ASU with a degree in Industrial Design and has captured several design awards in college and throughout his professional career. When he is not busy taking projects from paper to real life, he might be found at a D-backs game with his wife, Sandy and their kids or enjoying anything having to do with classic cars and off-road toys.

Sandy Bruce

Team Mom, aka Principal & Director of Marketing
In the early days she was Shad’s first installer, but these days Sandy is best known as the office mom, which means she is the ultimate multi-tasker. She leads office administration, accounting and marketing for the studio. Having graduated from ASU’s College of Business in Marketing, prior to DD&F she gained 13 years of experience in sales and marketing with Bank of America and SAFECO Insurance. When she actually finds the time to tear herself away from the studio, she loves to travel with the family.

Scott Moles

Chaos Controller, aka Studio Manager
With 14 years of industry experience, much of it in themed environments, Scott’s know-how and down-to-earth personality, make him a valuable part of our management team. Prior to joining DD&F, Scott had the opportunity to work on themed projects at Disneyland. One night he found himself working alone. No one was there, but all the rides were still on and running. A vividly eerie feeling. Ok, too much information.

The Get-’er-done Guy, aka Design Project Manager
Recipient of a variety of design-related awards, he attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA on scholarship, where he earned his BS degree in Industrial Design. Mike thrives on the variety and inherent challenges in DD&F work. When off the clock, he can be found at local music shows… everything ranging from roots music, to punk or underground hip-hop. Recently he’s also taken up photography and enjoys scoping out the work of local and international artists.

Tom Schubert
Tom Schubert toms@ddandf.com
Shop Pirate, aka Master Fabricator
This is a guy that loves to work with his hands. With more than five years of experience in relevant industries, including construction, fabrication and signage, Tom is highly skilled and a natural innovator. Possessing an outstanding sense of humor, he is typically up for any challenge and infuses his work with personality. He’s also proved himself to be DD&F’s fastest man on four wheels (next to Shad) during team excursions to client Bob Bondurant’s School of High Performance Driving.

Man! That Tom guy looks awesome- I hope one day I’ll be as cool as him.
