DD&F just wrapped up a unique sponsorship project for Lennar Homes. Not to toot our own horn, but we are known for quick turnarounds! With this specific project, from start to end, the design and production took place just three days after design approval.

The “Lennar mini house” will be used for their sponsorship with the Arizona Cardinals. This mini, mobile marketing tool has windows that open, providing an interactive football toss for fans and promotions.

The mini house was constructed from wood and metal. Once the structure was complete, it was painted and vinyl graphics were applied. It is 7-foot wide by 10-foot long by 8-foot tall and is mounted to a custom trailer. The mobility of the house enables Lennar to move back and forth to various events throughout Arizona. The fold-down side panels allow Lennar to display their marketing information. A trailer was custom modified to accommodate easy transportation for various promotional events.

DD&F also designed the Lennar mini house to resemble a real house, complete with a white picket fence and a front door. There are also four removable flag poles that are customized with both Lennar and Cardinals logos.

Go Lennar and the Arizona Cardinals!

Since 2007, Detail Design and Fabrication (DD&F), has been the official sign and graphic partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks. DD&F was recently challenged to come up with a re-design to the traditional Plinko style game. KaChingKo was created, and is now the Arizona Diamondbacks newest in-game promotion.

DD&F started with design renderings, to refine the size and mechanical workings of the game. The D-Backs arrived at naming the project KaChingKo, and the project was released for production. Materials used for the game were steel, aluminum, lexan backer with a clear front cover and large format prints.

The portable game is on wheels, and is unique because of its size and electronic rotating center which is operated by an electric motor with a reduction gearbox and chain drive to rotate the 8-foot circle. The KaChingKo game uses six-inch-wide plastic pucks, which are dropped down into approximately 93 pins that redirect the puck in addition to the center rotating. The project took the DD&F team three weeks to design and create.

During an inning break of each D-backs home game, a KaChingKo contestant will be featured on the dbTV scoreboard while dropping a game piece down the prize board for a chance to win great prizes.

UPTOWN is a new branded environment that was created to further enhance the D-Backs fan experience. The Diamondbacks named UPTOWN as the new fan zone, located behind the All-Star in right field where fans can cheer for Justin Upton and the D-backs.

The project started as a logo idea and evolved through brainstorming sessions. Renderings were produced by DD&F and upon design approval the project was submitted for engineering. Once approval was complete, the in-house fabrication and production began and the branded environment was built in one and a half weeks and installed by the DD&F team just days before opening day.

UPTOWN consists of two large overhead signs; one on the concourse, and one over the right field seats. Each sign measures at approximately six feet high and 35 feet wide, and weighs almost 860 lbs.

DD&F also designed the D-Backs 10-foot custom column surrounds to cover the existing square and rectangular concrete support columns. DD&F used steel to fabricate the external framework and then used a full color digital print with a protective laminate mounted to a lexan panel to create the graphics. These were mounted to the inside of the painted steel frame. DD&F also added branded imaging on railing, steps and throughout this concourse area, making this area really pop with color.

Other projects that DD&F have designed and fabricated at Chase Field include The Sandlot, the 35-foot high Miller beer bottle, the Diamond Club, full wall murals throughout each concourse and the huge 2007 Diamondback image transformation.

Spend your Friday and Saturday nights in UPTOWN! Visit here for tickets!

DD&F + D-Backs Continues to = A Winning Team

Detail Design and Fabrication, Inc. ( DD&F) is proud to be the Official Sign and Graphic Partner for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2007-2009. During the past 8 years our relationship has continued to develop and grow. We have had an amazing opportunity to show our companies diversity and talents over the years in several projects all throughout the stadium. The D-Backs continue to enhance not only their brand, but their overall fan experience. Becoming a sponsor has not only helped DD&F establish other contracts across the valley, but has also helped us further show our commitment to the organization. We will forever be D-Back fans! Now let’s Play Ball!

Some of our team members favorite D-Back projects:

Futures Field- “Love to watch my kids hit some balls out of the field” Shad

Miller bottle-” Because it’s HUGE and can be seen from anywhere in the stadium!” Rich

Sandlot– “Fun kids environment and the best baseball movie ever!” Sandy

Player Stand Up’s– “So believable, I thought they were fur-real” Wilbur

Ad campaign with black and white large format—”Really brings emotion to enjoying baseball with the entire family” Sandy

Jr Achievement–”Fun project!” Tom

Gila River, Hit and Win–”Because everyone likes to win!” Mike

Strike Zone Lounge– “Red LED turned out really cool!” Scott

APS Field Wall– “Great evolution from a 2-d Banner to a large updateable system using creative materials” Jerry

Brandon Webb pitching graphic at Futures Field–”The photo, graphic and custom CAD designed frame system is awesome.” Rich

Sponsorship change outs—”They keep us busy until the next cool project comes about!” Shad
